Assistive Technology Training for Dyslexia & ADHD

The software exists to make reading, writing, structure and focus dramatically easier at work. The difference between owning it and benefiting from it is training.

The training we deliver most

Much of our day-to-day work is with dyslexic and ADHD professionals — from new starters to senior managers — usually after an Access to Work or workplace needs assessment has recommended software and training to go with it. Delivered for years on behalf of the UK's leading Access to Work providers, that same specialist training is available directly to you or your employer.

The pattern we see constantly: the software arrives, gets opened twice, and quietly joins the list of things that "didn't work". It isn't the software. Tools like Read&Write or MindView repay a few hours of proper, personal training with years of easier working days — and that training is what we do.

The toolkit we train

  • Reading and writing: Read&Write, ClaroRead, Speechify — text to speech, reading support and proofreading that catches what spellcheck misses
  • Spelling and accuracy: Global AutoCorrect, Grammarly, Spellex — corrections that happen as you type, in every application
  • Dictation: Dragon — write by speaking, removing the spelling barrier at source
  • Structure and planning: MindView, MindManager — mind mapping that turns a blank page into a plan, then into a document
  • Meetings and notes: Genio (formerly Glean), Caption.Ed, ivvi Notes, Jamworks — capture what was said, so listening and noting stop competing
  • Focus and tasks: Tiimo, Global Tasks and text prediction tools that keep the day on track

How sessions work

One-to-one, judgement-free, and built around your real job — your documents, your inbox, your deadlines — not generic exercises. We scope everything in a free phone consultation first. Sessions run as half days or full days, remotely across the UK or on site by arrangement, and every training package includes two weeks of follow-up support for the questions that appear once you're using the tools for real.

For employers: we also deliver this as a workplace adjustment for a colleague, alongside awareness sessions for the wider team — see our page for employers.
