Purpose and reporting period
This is AAT Solutions Ltd's first voluntary modern slavery and human trafficking statement. It covers our first reporting period, from incorporation on 2 October 2025 to 31 October 2026. It explains the position during that period and separates it from steps taken after the period ended.
We publish this statement voluntarily to give customers and suppliers a clear account of our approach.
Our business and supply chain
We are a UK limited company providing assistive technology training, digital accessibility testing and audits, and awareness talks. During the reporting period, the business was run by its working owner-director, Ajmal Ahmed, with no other employees.
We have not yet completed a formal supplier inventory or modern slavery review. Our planned inventory will cover the software, cloud, equipment and other services that support delivery.
Steps during the reporting period
No formal modern slavery checks of suppliers or associates, and no modern slavery training, were carried out during this period.
Risks and due diligence
A small, director-led service still needs to consider the people involved in its purchases and delivery arrangements. Technology and equipment can involve manufacturing and raw-material supply chains beyond the immediate seller. Any future associate or outsourced service also needs proportionate consideration.
The initial supplier inventory and risk review will identify actual relationships, available evidence, gaps and any follow-up needed. We will remain alert to exploitation beyond our immediate suppliers.
Concerns and effectiveness
No modern slavery or human trafficking concerns were raised with us during the reporting period.
Future reviews will record checks completed, information gaps, concerns received and actions taken. These records will establish a baseline for assessing progress.
Developments after the period ended
We adopted our Modern Slavery Policy and Action Plan on 1 November 2026, after this reporting period ended.
The policy sets responsibilities for proportionate supplier checks, fair delivery arrangements and accessible reporting. The director owns the action plan.
Next steps
The following deadlines come from the adopted action plan. The actions remain open and will be marked complete only when evidence is recorded. Ajmal Ahmed is responsible for each action.
Suitable labour, reporting and cooperation expectations will be included before any new delivery arrangement begins.
1 December 2026 — Complete a proportionate supplier inventory and set records access and retention arrangements.
Status: Open.
31 December 2026 — Review risks, prioritise follow-up, build director awareness and work through the reporting route.
Status: Open.
30 January 2027 — Review progress, address priority gaps and complete or schedule justified supplier follow-ups.
Status: Open.
1 November 2027 — Review the policy and legal position, or review sooner if a material change or concern arises.
Status: Open.
Raising a concern
Contact Ajmal Ahmed at info@aatsolutions.uk or 0333 091 3876, by email, telephone or an agreed accessible method. Concerns will be handled under the adopted policy. Urgent safeguarding or police action must not wait for a routine business response.
