Low Vision & Magnification
Practical training in SuperNova, ZoomText, Fusion, Windows Magnifier, EasyReader and OrCam devices — tailored to your visual preferences, screen setup and daily tasks.
Built around your visual comfort and everyday tasks
Magnification works best when zoom levels, colour contrast, pointer visibility and spoken read-back are tuned to the documents and systems you actually use. We help you set up comfortable reading and navigation habits for emails, wide spreadsheets, long reports and web portals, reducing the need to scroll constantly at high zoom.
Each software package is taught in its own dedicated session (our standard booking is a three-hour half-day per package, and shorter sessions for an individual package are available on request), delivered remotely across the UK or on site by arrangement, with two weeks of follow-up support included with every training package.
What you'll practise
- Choosing magnification levels, zoom views and panning methods that keep your place on screen
- Configuring high-contrast themes, custom colour schemes, pointers and cursor highlights
- Using speech read-back on demand to rest your eyes during long documents and proofreading
- Combining keyboard shortcuts with magnification in Microsoft 365, web browsers and PDFs
